Pool Surfaces’ Pool Plaster Product Limitations: Plaster is a cement based composite installed with steel trowels and precise shaping tools and the finished product will vary in shade, consistency and exposure. The color of pool plaster will appear to vary throughout the day as the sunlight reflects off the water from different angles. Color variation may be more pronounced in dark plaster colors. Hand troweled physical variations may be more visible at night with pool lights on. These variations are not considered to be a product defect. However workmanship should be well within industry standards with little or no trowel tool marks. Tools marks can be remedied with polishing plster in many cases. Some loss of stone is expected in pebble series finishes. It is essential that the water be kept balanced. The pool water should be professionally tested and analyzed at least monthly with records kept in order to maintain the validity of this warranty. White calcium scale, geen copper and yellowish brown iron mineral stains, and or algae may develop on plaster if the water is not kept balanced. All staining is excluded from this warranty. This warranty shall not include pools that have been abused chemically through lack of proper water chemistry balancing, over-chlorinated, low PH, or low alkalinity conditions. Pool plaster is not designed to be taken out of water. If the pool is drained for any reason exposing the plaster to air warranty is null and void. Minor surface checking and crazing of the plaster can be caused by exposure to air and is excluded from this warranty. Cracks originating from the pool shell will reflect through the plaster veneer. This is not a plaster failure. Pebble plaster can be designed to function in and out of water as a beach entry, however Pool Surfaces will not warranty out of water plaster.
